Finn, Francis and Mark were asked to identify three pieces each that they felt close to within the urban categories of melancholic, joyful and dance music. Arrangements of fragments of these songs were then made for each instrument, having them played in concert in an aleatoric order. As the pieces are absorbed and processed whilst being regurgitated back, a video is projected, showing snippets of video clips from the songs and the players themselves reenacting these. A non-present voice also sings extracts of the songs whilst a hand click beats the rhythm which goes up at 20bpm from an unbearably slow to an almost unplayable fast tempo.
